Guidelines

AWCA, the owner of this site, is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion. Please respect and abide by the house rules, which are:

1. Keep it clean

2. Keep it civil

3. Stay on topic

4. Be responsible

5. Please suggest removal of comments that violate these standards

The AWCA Weblog is open for comments by all lineages/ families of Wing Chun/Ving Tsun/Wing Tsun. There are very few guidelines, but those that do exist are to be adhered to. Failure to do so will result in account deletion.

  1. Discuss anything and everything concerning Wing Chun. However, rude or abusive language – as well as profanity – will not be tolerated. If a person cannot discuss their thoughts with civility, then they should not post a comment. If they do post rude or disrespectful comments, and have been asked to cease but continue to do so, then their comments and account deleted and their IP address permanently blocked.
  2. Prior to posting a comment, consider how the reader(s) will view it. Remember that the Internet will be around long after you and I are gone, so the image you portray here will speak volumes.
  3. Not everyone will agree with what is posted here. That is the nature of human thought and it is called an opinion. Everyone has one and they are entitled to it. In that, however, the opinions should be addressed with a manner of civility and respect.
  4. Registration is required and anonymous users are not permitted to post comments (in order to control spamming, which trust me is rampant on anonymous boards). I will never censor a comment (unless profanity or rude behavior is used) and I will never “not” approve a comment (unless profanity or rude behavior is used).
  5. All videos, photos, training guides, or any other media of any format that has been posted by the AWCA is the property of the Arizona Wing Chun Association. It is not licensed or authorized to be included on any website, project, or medium of any kind.

That’s it. Basic stuff but important stuff. We all love forums since we learn a great deal, and even though the weblog is focused on Wing Chun, it is also open to non-Wing Chun arts.

So have fun and feel free to get involved!
