After Requesting a Refund, the eBook Doesn't Open Anymore
Every eBook purchased through the AWCA requires periodic contact with the eBook registration server in order to ensure that their copy is from a valid purchase. I have a strict no-questions-asked money-back guarantee policy, so if a customer requests a refund within 30 days after purchase, I issue an immediate refund, no-questions-asked. However, after the refund is processed, access to the eBook is removed.
If you return a book to the bookstore that you purchased it from, they will not give you your money "and" let you keep the book, will they? Likewise, I will always refund a customer's purchase, but then their access is disabled from further viewing unless they re-purchase it. In this way, I can ensure the integrity of the products while also protecting other customer's investments.
